WPBS-TV will host its 50th Anniversary Gala at the Antique Boat Museum on Friday, August 8th.

The special guest will be Paula Kerger, who is the president and chief executive officer of PBS.

A gilded picnic, character appearances and "live" entertainment will be the highlights of the upcoming celebration.
